The stripmall near our house hosted a family fun day! Of course the Hansons could not turn away a meal deal that included a hot dog, chips, AND a drink for only $1. And, the festivities were fun too!

The smoke house requires kids to practice crawling below smoke and escaping from a burning building.

Not only is Carter proud to pose with Officer Garthwaite because she is a police officer, but he is also in awe of her famousness as the author of on his favorite chapter book series "Dirkle Smat". Lynn used to be the media center clerk at Poplar Bridge until she quit to be a police officer and author. Now, we are lucky enough to get autographed copies of her latest edition!
