That's What Friends are For

We had an incredible summer playing with the "Poplar Bridge playdate crew"!  While only half of the mommies are still teaching at PB, that is where we all met!  We had a standing playdate each Thursday morning at different locations all around the southern suburbs, and it was definitely one of the highlights of the week!  At our last playdate, Carter got a sad look and asked if it was the last one forever.  No way, bud...we're all excited for next summer! Here's the whole gang (minus Olivia who was sick, Caleb who was with his Grandma, and Josie and Noah who needed to leave early to go to Grandma and Grandpa's).  From left to right...Baby Ben (3 months old - Mommy Beth), Annie (2 1/2 - Mommy Beth), Grace (17 months - Mommy Emily), Addie (16 months - Mommy Pam), Zach (4 - Mommy Pam), Andrew (2 1/2 - Mommy Deana), Carter, Amelia, Ethan (5 1/2 - Mommy Sara).  Olivia is 19 months (Mommy Mindy), Caleb is 3 (Mommy Karin), and Josie is 5 (Mommy Sara) and Noah is 2 (Mommy Sarah).
Here are all the hot mamas on our own playdate!  We read the book "The Time Traveler's Wife" during the summer, enjoyed a yummy dinner at P.F. Chang's (that did not include any high chairs or kids meals), saw the movie together, and ended the night with drinks and appetizers at the Tavern on France.  It was an incredible night filled with laughs, tears, and plenty of talking that didn't end until midnight!  Thanks for your incredible friendship Beth, Sarah, Mindy, Emily, Karin, Pam and Deana!
