Too difficult to predict the future weather, so we decided to bear the 40 degree temps and head to the apple orchard!

Choosing a pumpkin is such hard work!

We're heading off into the orchard on the wagon. Brrrrrr.....

"Quick you two...look like you're picking an apple and pose for some pictures so that we can get back on the wagon. If this one leaves without us, we'll have to wait until another one comes out. We'll buy the apples that are already picked and bagged and sold in the orchard building."

Carter is SO proud of the 1 apple that he quickly picked!

Here they are posing by the fall-scene set up by the orchard building. We're on our way home! You'd never tell by looking at our picture, but here is how the minutes following this snapshot were spent...
Amelia dropped the rest of the cookie that she was holding and threw an absolute tantrum when Mommy wouldn't let her eat it. Mommy tried to maneuver the stroller that was filled with 3 bags of apples, 1 large pumpkin, and 3 frozen apple pies out to the parking lot in a tremendous balancing act so as to not dump the pies and while requesting Carter to help steer Amelia in that direction while she was kicking and screaming. That will be the LAST time Mommy tries to bring 2 kids to the apple orchard on a freezing morning all alone!
