Is it a sign of genius that she knows exactly what to do with our iPhones? They make such great applications - for both kids' ages, and Amelia LOVES to play the animal sounds app. When she touches the screen, the animal changes and you hear the sound it makes. (Carter plays a baseball game under Daddy's watch and a math facts game under Mommy's...can you guess who's phone he'd rather play with?!) It's a great time-passer when we're out and about or waiting for dinner at a restaurant. 
Apparently, she knows that it also doubles as a phone. One evening, we were riding in the Jeep and Amelia was playing with Mommy's phone - the animal sounds app like usual. We heard her babbling and babbling, so we asked her who she was talking too. She replied with "Nana", and it wasn't until we heard something coming out of the phone that we realized she wasn't pretending. She actually figured out (well, "accidentally" is probably a more accurate statement) how to call Nana and Papa from the phone and she actually WAS talking to Nana! 
"Hey, these things fit perfectly on my fingers!"
"We should definitely have these more often!" Request granted, Amelia!
