Auntie Anna offered to host us all for our Christmas celebration at her new apartment. A yummy meal + great company = an awesome Christmas Eve! We're glad to have made it...Mommy had visions of being stranded alone at Grandma's house with stomach flu kids, as Carter threw up the night before. But, it must've been all the random junk food he had throughout the evening, because it was a one-shot deal and Amelia didn't catch it at all! So, we all joined in the fun at Auntie Anna's. As you can see, for Amelia, it was ALL about "my puppy". We're surprised that she didn't try to sneak the puppy home in her diaper bag when we left.
It's about time that Tia earned her keep! :)
We're all so smiley in all of these pictures, but really, a sense of sadness hung over everyone, as this is our first Christmas without Grandpa. It was weird to not have barn chores to do before dinner and dishes to wash before opening presents and we definitely missed Grandpa's presence - laugh, jokes, smile, and nutcracking - celebrating with us. We miss and love you Grandpa Bill / Dad, and you are always in our hearts.
You 3 are the best Christmas present Mommy could ask for!
You can see who the star was at the Hanson Christmas this year...Auntie Anna's brand new puppy! I'm sure he was thrilled when we all packed up and left him to nap in peace!
Grandma with her kids...Uncle Curt, Auntie Anna, and Daddy. We missed you Uncle Ryan. Come celebrate with us next year, OK?!
