Our serious baby has turned into a toddler who can't get enough of the camera! And, we can barely get the picture snapped before she says "Me see? Me see?" What did we do before digital cameras?

All bundled up to head out for a Minnesota winter. Remember how easy it is to step into some flip flops and head out in the summer? Only 6 more months to go...

Like father, like son! They are two baseball-playing, football-loving, wii-fanatic peas in a pod!

Carter's room was decorated with Sesame Street characters when he was a baby and we found these beanies at the dollar store way back when. (Well, it actually wasn't "A" dollar store...more like "many different" dollar stores until we had visited every one in the metro area to find all of the characters). Although not initially planning on more kids as he grew up, we decided to save these any way. Hauling them out of the shed was like Christmas for Amelia, who follows in her big brother's footsteps in her love for Sesame. Here is Carter reviewing everyone's names with Amelia, who initially only knew Elmo. But, she now knows them all. (And, they are kept in a bin on a shelf near the edge of her crib. On occasion, we come get her up from nap and find that she has reached over, grabbed the bin, and dumped all the "guys" into her crib with her to play with.)

Look everyone! I can get all of my hair up in piggie tails now!

Family movie night has become a Friday evening tradition in our household. We go out to eat, stop at Blockbuster, and head home for some popcorn and time together in the living room. While Carter picks out the movie geared toward his current interest, Amelia does great watching it too...as long as she can drag out lots of books and stuffed animals and toys to keep her company. Oh well - we're all together and that's what matters most!
P.S. For those of you who remember the movie "Goonies" to be a favorite when we were growing up and a good choice for family movie night...DON'T! I guess we were immune to the awful language when we were growing up, but are now quite tuned in to it as parents of young ones. We made it about 15 minutes into it with Carter's snickers and Daddy's glares at Mommy before we made a switch to a safer bet with The Chipmunks.

How much of the banana can you put in your mouth at one time Rae?

Crazy hair day at school!

"So happy together..."

Our two Gap boys!
